Nothing beats some amazing production and GW's incredible vocals. This song has a perfect build and slamming verses and chorus. Life is better with GW.

lyrics
I'm only here for
The final thing on my mind
I'm gonna bare my soul, then leave
What are you here for?
And what are you still doing?
This place was ours to roam
Now lost in time
I always felt that you
Never really knew who I was
If only you knew
The reason I've been holding on
You don't deserve the truth
The light I had you tried to ignore
You kept on asking me
You never learned the meaning of "no"
I want you to want me for who I am
I want you to want me for who I am
I hope someday you can understand
I want you to want me for who I am
Don't shed a tear for
The image that you're holding
It's just a flash of hope that I'd stay
Just let the sand fall
Tumbling through your fingers
It's a fact you should know
That nothing new can grow
I want you to want me for who I am
I want you to want me for who I am
I hope someday you can understand
I want you to want me for who I am
Now I hoped and prayed it won't come to this
But you've left me no choice
You have blinded yourself in your foolishness
So now hear my voice

A very soothing experience which I find is great for meditation. Offers a diverse set of tones throughout the album. This evokes different emotional experiences which I always appreciate in an album. andyhorry
Woozy, vocal-driven synthwave captures the spirit and feel of the ’80s, with tremendous choruses and neon-hot electronics. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 28, 2020

Memories and Comeback Kid were my first introduction to this band. From then on - I've always gone to the Midnight for easy listening. Waiting for a bus - Standing in line - Going grocery shopping and pretty much everywhere and anywhere. You can listen to this track over and over again and I feel like it doesn't get old. solstra
